An expected spike in the number of COVID cases in mid-January caused the AAMA Board of Directors to decide to cancel the January luncheon. Looking back at those numbers, it's clear that was a wise decision. Below is a graphic that shows the number of cases in Tarrant County, which peaked on Jan. 9, just three days before our scheduled luncheon. Since that time, cases have fallen drastically, and the Board has decided to move forward with the February luncheon as a result. We will continue to monitor the situation as more people are vaccinated and make any necessary decisions.
